In 2008, Mr. Perfectionist was in news when his nephew Imran Khan made his debut in Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na through Aamir’s production company. The duo made several public appearances together. They participated in Salman Khan’s game show Dus Ka Dum where Aamir and Salman reminisced about their Andaz Apna Apna Jodi days. In return, Salman Khan made an appearance at the Jaane Tu. premiere.
 Similarly, Amitabh Bachchan attended the Jaane Tu.premiere. He liked the film, especially Imran Khan’s performance. It was after this that rumours about Aamir planning to direct a sci-fi film starring Amitabh made the rounds.
• Aamir also went to meet the ailing Amitabh when he was admitted to the Lilavati hospital. • After success of Jaane Tu Yaa…, Kiran Rao, with the help of her husband, debuts as a director by taking Prateik Babbar in the lead.
• Aamir made headlines with his controversial statement directed at Shahrukh Khan. In his blog, he stated that his “dog’s name is also Shahrukh”. Aamir later said that it was a just joke. But the rivalry didn’t stop there.
• Then, during the making of Ghajini, the shooting had to halt for more than three weeks when Aamir injured his hamstring.
• His new bald look, which was specially done of his forthcoming Ghajini, is currently in the spotlight. • The latest talk of the town are the 8 pack abs Aamir has been sporting- one step up from Bollywood fitness freaks Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and SRK. • He has also said in a recent interview that there is no war among the Khans.
• Now, all that the actor is waiting for is for Ghajini to release this Christmas. Let’s hope it’s as much of a hit as his Taare Zameen Par was.
