In the most anticipated next film and "Ready" is Salman Khan completely alone hogging the limelight. And guess what? leading actress of the film Asin has no qualms with it.

If someone in your place will no doubt have felt pain and insecurity, Asin said she does not mind being ruled by Salman.

"When a film stars Salman Khan, it is natural that the script is written to accentuate their presence in the film. It is logical that the film revolves around him. The same is reflected in promotions and where his style and manners are exposed to the public, "said Asin news agency.

South Beauty has already acted in London Dreams Salman. Make the second film with Sallu was a very conscious choice.

"I waited the better offer to come my way and I had the form of" Ready, "where she played the lead character in a commercial film and Salman Anees Bazmee," said Asin.

The film is set to release June 3.

Arbaaz Khan Denies Her Marriage Is In Trouble With Malaika Arora Khan

A source said: "With the success of 3D Haunted, the first film from India in the banner of the new 3D technology Yash Raj felt that Indian audience has opened for viewing movies in 3D, it made them more confident experiment with the new format .. "

But while Aditya Chopra seems quite optimistic about the idea, Aamir Khan, who plays the negative in the film seems to have its reservations. "The 3D technology requires expertise and may be Aamir is not sure that the director Vijay Krishna Acharya (who recently directed and wrote Tashan Dhoom 1 & 2) would be able to live up to," says the source . Another reason may be that 3D comes into play, the performance of priority technology. So maybe acting prowess Aamir may be hidden behind the art.

He even took off his spectacles as he could see pretty well without his specs.

The Most Anticipated Bollywood Movies in 2011

The year 2011 is certainly going to be one of the biggest, ever in terms of Bollywood releases. This year is going to see a whole load of big banner films releasing, making it an complete gala affair for all cine lovers’ right from the first month.

So, what are the new offerings on the film circuit waiting to thrill audiences this year? Let’s take a look:

The year is going to begin with a real life drama, recreated on screen almost realistically.

There is this movie titled No One Killed Jessica which releases in January is being touted as a great winner in terms of its content and great acting by the female protagonist played by Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan.

Then there is Dhobi Ghat, heading for by Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao which too promise to be a great entertainer for true movie lovers. The special attraction would surely be Aamir Khan in a special role.

Next in line in no particular order are movies like Saat Khoon Maaf, which has Priyanka Chopra playing a woman who marries seven times only for the sake of true love but fails miserably each time and so kills each of her seven husbands.

Ra.One, Don 2 these two movies will have Shahrukh Khan back again on the silver screen after a gap of almost a full year and both are certainly going to be great films.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a film set in Spain and has a deep travelling downward some of the most fascinating foreign locales with bull fights et al. The film has Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.

Then there Ready, Bodyguard which will have the macho Salman Khan all geared up to entertain audiences with his enigmatic personality and charming smile.

Agent Vinod is a movie anticipated as it has Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. But in the film they are not paired opposite each other as Saif plays the role of a CID Agent and Kareena a spy.

Patiala House, Thank you are the two forthcoming releases of Akshay Kumar. These two movies are touted to be great blockbusters too.

John Abraham is all set to make a mark with Desi Boyz, Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar and Madhavan with Kangana Ranaut in Tanu Weds Manu are also some great films to be releasing.

SRK Beats Salman Khan in best Actor Title Race

So Much has been spoken and written about Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan’s antagonism though the actors have claimed more than once that All is well between them. Actually, they battled for the Best Actor of 2010 title, although it was in a poll. At the end, Shahrukh beat Salman for the greatest Actor of 2010 title by a whisker.

Shahrukh got 45.54% vote while Salman got 43.25% vote. They are followed Hrithik Roshan (4.72%) and Ranbir Kapoor (2.17%). Among the actresses, Kajol has been chosen Best Actress of 2010 with 49.7% of vote, Kangana Ranaut (9.55%), Aishwarya Rai (8.89%) and Priyanka Chopra (7.5%). In the Best Film of the year 2010 category, Dabangg separated itself with 62.67%, beating Once Upon A Time In Mumbai (13.55%), Raajneeti (9.62%),  and Peepli Live (5.63%).

Abhinav Kashyap, the man behind Dabangg, is voted the best director of the year, beating Prakash Jha, Milan Luthria, Bhansali and Anusha.

Ra.One First Look

Catch the first look of Shahrukh Khan’s much-awaited film Ra.One. The superstar will be playing a superhero.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Ra. one is produced under Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. According to Khan, “Ra.One” way “Random Access – Version 1.0. The flick also has Arjun Rampal essaying the role of SRK’s arch foe and Kareena Kapoor who plays SRK’s love interest.

The film has “wonderful” stunts from Shahrukh Khan. A special body suit was designed for SRK’s character.

SRK hopes to create the sci-fi history in Indian cinema. The film also has a song by Akon.

The film Will Most likely release by Diwali 2011.

Aamir Khan sets Twitter ablaze; all thanks to Big B

Mumbai: The wait is over for all the Aamir Khan fans out there, as the superstar has finally joined Twitter. Aamir, who was supposed to join the celeb-studded micro-blogging site on July 1, made a surprised entry on July 30.

The actor, who’s joined Twitter following much persuasion from Amitabh Bachchan, got a warm welcome from the megastar, as he tweeted, "Thank you Aamir... You give more due than I deserve ... Happy Tweeting ...."

On the other hand, filmmaker Karan Johar welcomed Aamir by posting:@aamir_khan on twitterverse people.

The perfectionist Khan opened his Twitter account on Wednesday by tweeting: ‘Testing. Aamir.’ And going by the actor’s popularity, it seems that he might soon create a record of sorts in the web world, as he already has about 42,533 followers on the website, according to reports.

A few days back, Aamir had met Amitabh and his actress-politician wife Jaya over a casual dinner in London and that’s when Amitabh started persuading him to join the site. He even taught him how to send Tweets through his phone .

Bollywood's latest happenings at a glance

All eyes are set on the big three films - Kites, Rajneeti and Raavan. The films are expected to extend the summer box office fest after Housefull and Badmaash Company. However, if any of these three films fail, that would immediately pull down the industry by at least 50 crores.

Hrithik Roshan'as much-hyped film "Kites", which released worldwide on Friday (May 21), garnered a mixed response from critics and fans. The love story, which marks Hrithik's return to the big screen after a gap of two years, is high on style but falters in the writing department, feel critics. They also lamented that Kangana Ranaut has been wasted with a "half-baked" role. Critic Anupama Chopra said Hrithik was spectacular but the film "does not become more than the sum of its parts because the second half is flat and in places, outright foolish". Katrina Kaif is 2008's sexiest Asian woman

coveted title of sexiest Asian woman in the world this year in a weekly based in the UK. Last year's topper, actress Bipasha Basu has now fallen to number two.Kaif landed on the top of a list of ten in a yearly roundup held by the Eastern Eye, a leading Anglo Asian publication.The judging panel included Brianna Ragel, editor of Asian Woman Magazine and FHM India's former editor Farhad Dadyburjor.According to Hamant Verma, Eastern Eye's editor, "Katrina Kaif's natural beauty and easy charm has enabled stock to rise in Bollywood. This has resulted in a number of lucrative offers, and appearances in films that proved to be box-office hits."Katrina, who grew up in the British capital, landed one notch above actress Bipasha Basu, last year's number one, and two above actress Priyanka Chopra, the winner in 2006. According to sources, “Deepika Padukone had got the news from her sources about Ranbir’s growing comfortability on and off the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani during the two month shooting schedule in Ooty. Deepika got very insecure when her sources from the sets of the same film told about what was happening between the two in the Goa schedule.He further added, “It is learnt that during the Goa shoot both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif appeared more than comfortable with each other than before even in front of the unit members on the sets. Deepika Padukone went to Goa straightaway after hearing from her source. During her one day trip she met her source and came back to Mumbai.”When Ranbir Kapoor came to know about the incident, he made call to Deepika Padukone and they had an argument over the phone which ended up in Deepika hanging up on him. Akshay Kumar’s sweaty photo-shoot for Dabboo Ratnani

Mumbai, Jan 06: Looks like Akshay doesn’t have to try too hard to sweat out his perfect fighter looks. In a recent photo-shoot for Dabboo Ratnani’s 2009 Calendar, the actor emptied jars of water to get that perfect ‘sweaty’ look. In the calendar Akki will be sporting a torn white T-shirt matched with a faded denim jeans and sporty eye gear. Akki has tried hard to bring out his aggressive look and hardly allowed a hint of smile throughout the shoot. The veteran khiladi had his own share of suggestions for every click he posed for and Dabboo was all ears. As always, the camera maestro, known for his perfect pictures and indomitable calendar exhibits, impressively managed to bring out the perfect macho look for Akki. Although he did seem to have a tough calling making space for Akki’s opinions, too, lest the frowns got too convincing for the shoot!

Akshay’s turn to shine at the box office

Mumbai: SRK has proved it. Aamir has, well, taken a big leap. It's Akki's turn now. with ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and ‘Ghajini’ setting new records at the box-office and emerging true saviours for the strife-torn industry, all eyes are on the next-in-line biggie, ‘Chandni Chowk To China’.
This film is more crucial for all those associated with it. Nikhil Advani made a tremendous debut with ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, but slipped with ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’. He has to fire the salvo with ‘Chandni Chowk To China’. Hollywood giant Warner Bros., associated with this film in the capacity of its presenters, need to spread their wings in India and if ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ works -- this being their first biggie in Hindi -- the studio would get the confidence to go all out and try their luck in Bollywood.
Most importantly, ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ is an acid test for Akshay Kumar, whose status is at par with SRK and Aamir. While SRK and Aamir's latest movies are thrashing all previous records at the ticket window, one expects Akki to follow suit. Will ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ supersede these two films?

The Biggest Bollywood Films to Look for in 2009

As the year that was 2008 comes to a close and we all reflect back on the year that was we thought we'd take a glimpse into the future to bring you the biggest films to look forward to in '09!
'Kambakht Ishq': This film has been buzzed about ever since it hit the floors! Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor star in this movie that has been shot in locales such as Los Angeles and Italy. Plus let's not forget the addition of Hollywood actors Denise Richards, Sylvester Stallone and Brandon Routh. Sounds like this film might take Akki's spot in B-Town one notch higher.
'Billo Barber': The film's producer and star is Shahrukh Khan (enough said!) and also stars Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta. It's a remake of a Malayalam film and it also will feature guest appearances by Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor. The film garners attention purely based on SRK.
'London Dreams': Salman Khan's films may not have done too well in 2008, but we're pinning our hopes on the film based on a rock band and their friendships. The film also stars Ajay Devgun and 'Ghajini' beauty, Asin.
'Veer': Another one of Salman Khan's films, but this time around Sallu's written the script! The film is supposed to be a take on Hollywood's 'Gladiator' and also stars British beauty Lisa Lasarus. Beefcake Sallu as a gladiator? Yeah, that sounds about right!
'Naagin' - the Snake Woman': It's Mallika Sherawat's next attempt in Hollywood. The film stars Mallika in a non-speaking role, as a, you guessed it, snake woman. The film is directed by Jennifer Lynch and also stars Irrfan Khan.
'My Name is Khan': For the first time since 2001's 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' audiences will get to witness the magical pairing of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol! Not to mention the fact the guy to finally get the two together again is super producer and director for the film, Karan Johar! The film is based on a real life couple living in Los Angeles and stars SRK as a man with a mild case of autism.
These are just a few films that are already on radar, there promises to be a whole lot more as time goes on. Here's to a successful 2009!

Aamir Khan Press Conference at Barbarian Gym

It was a crowded affair filled with cameramen and reporters trying to get a glimpse of ‘Ghajini’ actor as he gave a press conference at Barbarian Gym. At the gym Khan smiled for pictures and answered questions. The gym, which has several locations in India including Mumbai, New Delhi, and Nagpur, was started by Aamir Khan’s trainer Satyajit Chourasia (better known as Satya) and his brother Devashish. The two brothers have been professional trainers and have worked with many actors, including , Ritesh Deshmukh, and . ‘Ghajini’ whose storyline has been compared to the Christopher Nolan film 'Memento' is due out on Christmas.

Aamir Khan who is normally a mere 176 pounds, dropped approximately twenty pounds and bulked up revealing an six pack. The work he put in to achieve the amazing results are probably not what the average person would be willing to endure. Satyajit Chourasia spent months just creating Aamir Khan’s regiment. The actor who was finishing up the award winning film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ went right to work to create what he calls “the world’s greatest body”. Aamir Khan told the media that there were many times when he felt like giving up, undergoing excruciating pain to look the way he does, but he persevered and achieved his goals.
 
Aamir Khan started working out in his garage and then at the advice of Satyajit Chourasia, expanded his workout space and spent over a year training every day and bulked up. The hard work and determination Aamir put in has paid off as many are astonished by his new look and of course want to know all of his secrets. Aamir Khan’s strict diet which didn’t allow the actor to eat rice or sugar along with his workout regime is something that many wouldn’t willingly undertake. Still the work paid off and everyone can enjoy the results in the ‘Ghajni.’

Kajol and SRK Return?

We've all been waiting with baited breath and now we can finally confirm Kajol and Shahrukh will be appearing in the lead romantic roles in Karan Johar's next film, 'My Name is Khan'! Kajol had already refused a bunch of films with SRK after their last movie, 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham,' due to travel, but this time around Kajol's okay with it since her daughter is a little older now.


The flick will be partly shot in California and the first half is based on a true story, but not the second half... after all this is B-Town we're talking about, they have to throw in some drama! We'll keep you posted on the details!

Devgan dons action-hero mantle with Sanjay Dutt again!

Mumbai, Dec 28: Ajay Devgan, the action hero of yore, has decided to excavate that image again. He has also decided to do it with adequate company. The original muscle-man of Bollywood Sanjay Dutt is to complement him in an upcoming action-comedy movie. Devgan is producing this action-comedy after the success of romantic ‘U Me aur Hum’ in 2006. The flick in question is to roll out in March next year. Rohit Shetty, long-time friend and veteran of Bollywood, is to direct the movie. Fardeen Khan will also make a much-due appearance through this flick. Rohit said about the flick, “I'm putting together a far more sensible and far less slapstick comedy for Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan.
 The project was finalised in two weeks. The script was ready for a while and when I narrated it to Ajay, he immediately wanted to produce it. He met Sanjay, who also liked the film.” Devgan was eager to handle the production and action-comedy session with long-time friend Rohit. “Rohit and I go back 17 years. He was an assistant on my first film ‘Phool Aur Kaante’,” he said while talking to a news daily. Talking further about the flick, Rohit added, "I want to cast Sanjay and Ajay in an action-comedy. I've always been a fan of Hrishida's comedies. So when I wrote this script, it was meant to provide a maturer flavour of laughter. In ‘Golmaal’, I could get away with a lot of slapstick humour. Deepika Padukone: My double role in CC2C was quite challenging

Deepika Padukone essays a double role in Nikhil Advani directed CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA. She has two distinct looks in the film, one which is pure Indian while other which is Chinese. Incidentally two characters that Deepika portrays are twins in the film. 'Yet again, I have a double role to enact in a film. In my first film OM SHANTI OM, I had a double role too though it was separated by 25 odd years. It was the case of being 'born again'. However, the difference this time around is that both the characters belong to the same times', says Deepika while maintaining that it wasn't easy to be playing both the parts.
 In this Rohan Sippy production, she plays the role of Sakhi a.k.a. Ms. TSM (Tele Shoppers Media) who has embarked on a journey to pay homage to the land of her birth and her dead father and twin. Her other role requires her to enact the part of a sexy femme fatale who is interestingly named 'Meow Meow'. 'It was quite challenging to be doing a double role in CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA. While the Indian girl is sweet and simple, the Chinese is energetic, athletic and sexy. I am happy to have got an opportunity to play a simple as well as a sexy girl in one single film', adds Deepika. Says Nikhil Advani, 'With Akshay Kumar being cast as 'Sidhu', we had to find a very special girl. She had to be someone who could be comfortable playing a very beautiful Ms. TSN and at the same time turn into a fabulously sexy femme fatale Meow Meow. Basically the girl in the film had to be someone who was fresh, physically very fit and a good actress. Luckily the most exciting debutante actress to hit Bollywood films in a while, Deepika Padukone, came on board and we had our casting in place.' Final words of reassurance come from Ramesh Sippy as he states – 'Look out for this girl'!
